About us: Delia Derbyshire Day (DD Day) is a small Manchester-based charitable organisation honouring the work of electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001). DD Day produces arts heritage projects and events, commissions new art and offers electronic music education centred around the Delia Derbyshire Archive which is held at John Rylands Library in Manchester, UK. Delia’s most famous work is her iconic realisation of the original Doctor Who theme in 1963. The charitable aims of DD Day are to advance the art and education of the public in music technology and the history of British electronic music via the archive and works of Delia Derbyshire. DD Day are very grateful to have the support and approval of the Delia Derbyshire Estate, which is essential to the initiative’s integrity. We are planning this 10th anniversary heritage project to celebrate our successes, our growing community and find out how we can be of best service over the next 10 years.

This job description is a guide to the nature of the work required of the Project Coordinator for our 10th anniversary project. It is not wholly comprehensive or restrictive and may be reviewed with the post holder and project manager as operationally required.
