Welcome to the Delia Derbyshire Day podcast!

Yes, we have done it. We have jumped on the podcast bandwagon. Audio only, available on your favourite podcast platform. Through this first series of our podcast we celebrate our 10th anniversary as a registered charity, with each episode exploring the various aspects of our work, the related heritage as well as Delia’s work and legacy. First we will dive into Delia Derbyshire Day itself and then our newly established values will be the guiding light for the rest of the episodes. Our 4 key values are creativity, curiosity, openness and collaboration.

This podcast series was designed by our trustees and our wonderful team of younger volunteers for 2025. We want to present a range of voices and perspectives so we have a variety of hosts and guests who are involved with our work. We also want to keep it fun and accessible, so have kept the conversations around 20 minutes long and inserted quirky segments like ‘Did you know?’ and Delia’s Dessert Discs. This series was produced by our 2025 volunteers and Caro C with thanks to funding support from National Lottery Heritage Fund.
